My name is Isabelle Quinlan and I am currently a Grade 11 student at York House School in Vancouver BC, Canada. I currently play for the York House School Varsity team, the Vancouver Hawks Field Hockey Division 1 team, and train with the Rob Short Field Hockey Academy.
I will be graduating in the class of 2026 and I have the goal to play at the NCAA level during university.
I am a multi-sport athlete who loves both team and individual sports. Outside of field hockey, I am a ski racer and avid outdoor enthusiast. Over the past six years, I raced for the Whistler Mountain Ski Club and competed at the British Columbia U14 and U16 Ski Provincials, and U16 Western Canadian Ski Championships, and continue to race for the York House School Ski Team.
Over the past two summers, I have participated in outdoor leadership programs that involved a five day, 57-kilometre trip around the Powell River canoe circuit and a six day, 47-kilometre backcountry hiking trip on the Juan de Fuca Trail, located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Other backcountry trips include hiking in Banff National Park and in the interior of British Columbia.
Together, these sports and backcountry adventures have instilled in me a strong work ethic and resilience in both sports and school.
